About the Author
Barb Scholz and her children, ages six and eight, became survivors of suicide when husband-father, Troy, took his own life on a mid-winter day in January 1995. The ensuing years provided an involuntary crash course in coping with a confused world of questions, guilt, remorse, rebuilding - surviving. 'Is there life after suicide?' is the provocative question Barb Scholz has asked and answered. Horrible for almost any survivor of a suicide

If you are in a relationship that is failing and about to end it and the other person commits suicide because you are leaving them then buy this book. Otherwise if you truely loved the person who died and are looking for comfort or guidance then this book will not help you. This is one woman's account of her failing marriage and how her husbands suicide affected her and how she was able to pull together to help her children get through the suicide. There is no help for the vast majority of people who truely do love the person who has been tragically taken their lives. It's a selfish view of how one person was able to move on with her life after spending years in a loveless relationship.
